What to Expect

During the initial consultation, Dr. Erick Sanchez will assess your upper and lower back and discuss the body contouring techniques that will be used to create a tailored procedure that meets the patient goals. Liposuction is almost always used to eliminate excess fat and tissue.

After the Surgery

A back lift is an outpatient procedure, and our patients return home the same day. A total of two weeks off from work is recommended to recover from the surgery. Exercise can gradually be resumed four weeks after the procedure.

Expected Cost

Most back lift patients can expect to pay approximately $8,300. Pricing includes all surgery fees, Stage 1 and Stage 2 compression garments, necessary labwork, and all post operative visits to our clinic.

WHAT ABOUT SCARRING?

We make every effort to place the incisions in areas that can be covered with clothing and hidden as much as possible. The upper back lift incision is placed horizontally across the upper back, where a bra can usually cover it.

CAN I USE INSURANCE?

Erick Sanchez, MD Plastic Surgery does not accept any medical insurance. The patient can pay out-of-pocket or we accept financing from Care Credit and United Medical Credit.

WILL I SEE POSITIVE RESULTS?

Yes, upper back surgery does produce positive results. Seeing a dramatic difference in your physique and shape can give you a major boost in body confidence.
